Gerst 57 is the 119th chapter chartered with the Brewery Collectibles Club of America (BCCA), formerly known as the Beer Can Collectors of America. The BCCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating the historical aspects of breweries in the United States and abroad through collecting brewery memorabilia (breweriana). Currently, there are 4,000 dues-paying members of the BCCA in the United States and other countries.

The chapter was founded in Nashville and chartered with the BCCA in 1987 and is named after a popular brand of beer brewed by the William Gerst Brewing Company in the 1940's.  Gerst 57 now has members scattered all over Tennessee and in surrounding states.

The Gerst 57 chapter hosts an annual collectibles show the first weekend in March called Music City Madness.  The show consists of a pubcrawl Friday night, buy/sell/trading all day Saturday, and a group dinner at the Gerst Haus Restaurant Saturday evening.

The Gerst 57 chapter also distributes a quarterly newsletter to its members called The Southern Brews.  Annual dues for the club are $5.
